Overland Gowdy Campout and Monthly Member Ride - Saturday Evening BBQ Dinner

Overland Mountain Bike Club’s annual Curt Gowdy State Park campout is Friday-Sunday, July 14-16th. Join your friends & families for three days of riding, campfires, food & fun. Bring your tents, campers, traveling vans- whatever you need for nighttime shelter. There is no running water at the campsite. We will have a water truck and there are showers at the Curt Gowdy visitors center.

There is no food nearby to purchase. Bring your own food for Friday night and breakfast & lunches. Overland will be bringing our grill and will provide burgers and dogs on Saturday night. Please consider bringing something to share for the Saturday meal. So that we can plan for enough food, please complete this RSVP for the Saturday night meal and be sure to list the number of adults and children that will be attending the meal.

Curt Gowdy State Park is located on Happy Jack Road between Cheyenne and Laramie (Highway 210, Happy Jack Rd, 24 miles west of Cheyenne). Thanks to the our own Todd Thibodeau, the club has the Camp Jack Campground reserved for the weekend. The campground entrance is located on Happy Jack Road 1 1/2 mile west of the main Gowdy park entrance (map),on the north side of the road. Look for the metal cattle gate with the Camp Jack sign, and please close the gate behind you. See you there!
